Here it effin' finally is. Took me a while but it was definitely worth it and I hope you'll like it.
This is the video for Synops' track Incursion and it's probably gonna be the most epic video you'll see in a while.

and if you feel so inclined you can watch some of my other works, right here.

This space left empty for anything I might have forgotten.

And don't forget, I do not own any rights for the footage, and this was not in any way meant to be a cash in on somebody else's franchise property, the clips that I used are really the only way that this track should be accompanied.

Enjoy!

Track: Come Ere And Say Dat by Rusko

Thought of the day: The Pink Lincolns, The Dicks, The Ramones- would shoot themselves before calling Lincoln Park "punk music". Art has no "labels". Just "reference words". We are all guilty of calling different art forms by improper names as per it's original design. We can't learn EVERY art form's history and proper verbiage. There wouldn't be enough time in anyone's life to learn it all. You can't command the world to research EVERY art form's history and the proper language it was given by the people who initiated it's development. The world will call art different things as it evolves and popularizes at random moments and as people personalize the art to their own tastes. It's a trivial, harmless mistake that can't be controlled but should just be expected and accepted. I see too many people be negative and controlling about it. It's usually because someone is frustrated that they haven't gotten what they feel would be their due credit for their talents which they would describe under a different "label". That is called "hating" and that only stagnates art. Fuck labels. Create, perform, express, embrace the love you get and accept that you won't always get the props you feel you deserve. Life is naturally flawed. You want more props? Create more and go get em! Complaining never leads to change. People can only be INSPIRED to change. So, for today, we will call this combination of popping, waving, glitching, and what I call "reverbing"- Dubstep Dance. :)

Dubstep is most certainly music. Just because it's sound dynamics don't speak to everyone's emotional temperament doesn't take away from the fact that it has a syncopated beat and all other the things that define it as "music" to someone else's ears.

S.O.P.A isn't dead... yet

"Aren't SOPA and PIPA already dead?

No. Both acts still have substantial congressional backing and financial support from the MPAA, RIAA, and other supporters. Although the opposition has increased, there is still a possibility that either Act will be become law. Even if both Acts fail, there is a high probability that future legislation closely resembling those acts will appear before congress again—after all, they themselves are reincarnations of an earlier bill, the "Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act" (COICA)."

Creator of иσтнìиɠ вυт вαss

To start things off, especially as my very first blog, I would like to introduce myself.  I go by the artist name  DownSpin.   I am a local DJ/Produce in Salt Lake Cities underground scene...

I spun my first electronic record back in 2009, after that I fell madly in love with most if not all electronic music. .. Over the last few years I grew a very strong bond & understanding of electronic music, I first started off learning trance, electro & house, soon after understanding the basics I explored deeper & found the BASS.

I challenged myself to understand the format & understanding of Dubstep, I bought almost every Caspa record released. Caspa I would say was my  inspiration to the genre of Dubstep.   I first heard his tracks dropped by a underground local who spun at most house parties back in the day & he threw it down with an amazing mixing style!

Tell this day I have been hooked to the bass, I don't listen to much rock, alternative, or even the classics anymore..   My car & computer are filled with nothing but Dubstep, Glitch Hop, DnB & Electro House.

I could keep going on but enough about me, I try and keep it simple.
Below are a few links to follow my sounds!  My music & mixes do most of the talking for me!
